We are seeking a dedicated Life Engagement Assistant (LEA.) The LEA is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing programs and activities designed to enhance the quality of life for residents. This role involves hands-on participation in activities, providing logistical support, and ensuring a vibrant and engaging community environment.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in planning and implementing diverse activities promoting physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual well-being of the residents
- Foster positive relationships with residents through regular interaction and engagement
- Engage in planning and executing events that bring residents and their families together for social engagement
- Bring outside speakers, performers, etc. into the community to keep programing fresh and interesting
- Assist with maintaining activity calendars, attendance records, and inventory of supplies as needed
- Work closely with team members to coordinate and deliver comprehensive resident care and engagement
- Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments
- Update community boards and digital displays with current activity information
- Encourage resident participation in activities and provide individualized support as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Driving the community bus.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Understand and uphold the policies and procedures established by TCSL
- Work independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism, and be a positive leader
- Demonstrate practical interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Maintain good working relationships with residents and co-workers
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
